I first came in contact with Rita Britt of Britt Interiors when she was contracted to do the interior design for an office building where I worked. I was very impressed with her expertise, her take charge demeanor and her ability to get things done in a timely manner, so much so we hired her to help in the design and decorating of our new home. We were so pleased with the outcome that seven years later we hired her again to help us. This time it was to a new construction condo building and Rita was on board with us from the beginning to the end. The only direction she was given was a poppy colored petal from a silk flower to be used as an accent color.

Throughout the whole process, Rita worked very closely with us, showing us many different design options, fabrics, furniture, light fixtures and everything else that goes into a home. She has everything you could possibly need right in her studio, which made it very convenient for us since we both work outside the home. We started with an empty shell and ended with an amazingly beautiful, unique home that suited us perfectly.

To sum it all up, we couldn’t be happier, from the plumbing fixtures to the designer rugs, window treatments and stained glass, our home is breathtaking thanks to Rita and our trust in her. Not only is she a superb designer, she is a good friend.

With my second home on the Florida Gulf Coast, I wanted a place that would embrace the best of its surroundings and bring them indoors. Rita was amazing in interpreting my need for a personal retreat and my joy in the natural palette of the ocean and seashells. All of the colors can be found on the beach. Yet my home also shows a flair for the fantastic and an edginess that I appreciate. The style reflects me but incorporates fabrics, tiles and textures in ways I would never have imagined on my own. Seven years later, when I open my front door my home makes me feel exactly the way I want it to. Their experience with the detailed requirements for certain aspects of the project saved time and money.
