New Construction

Making daily contact with your subcontractors is imperative the job turns out as planned. Large-scale bronzed tile to be installed on the walls and ceiling of the foyer presented some logistical installation problems. Working with our long term tiler proved once again, it’s important to use only the most skilled subcontractors.

Not only is the job done well, it is done only once.

Surprising to a lot of people, all decorating starts with color.

A decorating plan starts with a color palette or scheme so that from beginning to end all decorating will be done within that framework. This if from the stain on your wood, to your counter tops, the color of your appliances and light fixtures, the color and patterns on your fabrics and paint on your walls. It’s not only important to paint color swatches on your wall but do some in both light and shadow and check them at different times of the day. You’ll be amazed at what twilight will do for a room. Your color palette should also be reflected in the exterior of your home so there is continuity from outside in.

A consultation with a client to go over the blue prints confirms decisions made and avoids mistakes costly to correct. Doing this in the actual space will make more sense to your client.

Everyone keeps in the loop and on the same page.
