This condo dining room area was relatively small so care was taken to define the space without making it appear smaller. A mural depicting a balcony overlooking the sea, was painted on the back wall, visually opening the space.
Blonde-washed furniture accented with Asian motif fabrics kept this room feeling airy and spacious.

Elegance and sophistication personified.
This couple entertained in style, wanting the room to be warm and exciting, spacious yet cozy. The tapestry fabric on the dining chairs set the stage for the color palette and the copper silk panels topped with an opera styled 'cape collar'. The custom designed area rug echoed the patterning in the tapestry.
After a few tries we finally reached the perfect burgundy/copper metallic paint for the mirror wall. Our client was thrilled – so were we.

Once a client says "don't cover the windows but I want window treatments," stationary panels seem to please most everyone. In this case an upscale Parade of Homes - a soft contemporary home, was originally to be in a monochromatic color until the builder came home from Mexico with a beautiful piece of turquoise and wanted it incorporated into the color scheme. That's how the original sheers now became underlined in aqua, a turquoise Avonite topped buffet was added to the back- lit projected wall and table accessories pulled everything together.
Notwithstanding, we were on a very tight deadline, flexibility and the ability to think on ones feet will invariably endear you to any client. Mural by Britt.

Small spaces do not necessarily mean you have to sacrifice quality and style.
A careful editing of what exactly was needed to be accessible to the dining table enabled us to use this beautiful red leather- wrapped, granite topped buffet chest. Seen from the foyer as well as the dining room it appears well suited to both areas.

Given we had to work around structurally necessary columns, it was imperative it not be obvious they were there. The key was to make them a focal point by installing a long ceiling mounted ‘drip' light, (it came with its own puddle!) and using glass tile to reflect.
A Swarofski crystal chandelier hangs suspended over the dining table. Once again the view was not to be compromised so panels of striped sheer were used on the sides of the windows. A custom rug reflecting the color palette and the circles in the chair fabric anchored the room.
This room is fantastic at night!

A cozy seating area adjacent to the dining room. Perfect for that glass of wine before dinner.
Leopard and roses fabric on the chairs gives a very interesting look and feel to the space.
